Enthralling TV Series Translated to a Handsome Coffee-Table Book
First things first, there is no way the spectacular Discovery Channel/BBC series Planet Earth could be captured in its sensory overload glory in printed form. However, series producer Alastair Fothergill has done a fine job capturing the highlights while summarizing the key facts shared in the series in an eminently readable fashion. In an inevitable coffee-table book format, the impressive result is still so far above any other book in its category that a purchase is most worthwhile.

Confessor
I am a fan of the series and I waited a long time to see what happened in this story. The conclusion was average. So if you just need to see how the story ends then read this book.Confessor: Chainfire Trilogy, Part 3 (Sword Of Truth, Book 11)

VERY DISAPPOINTING
Samuel and Brian’s reviews each describe the book and the deterioration of the series perfectly. Richard has become a preacher and there are so many scenes where someone almost died or got killed, but they still go into monologues like they’d really ever do that. ALSO, the book is riddled with TYPOS and GRAMMAR mistakes. I stopped counting after 30. Just stupid mistakes that a junior high kid would fix on a paper he was turning in. It gave the book a half-a## kind of feel. The series was great in the beginning, but has been dragged out for profit or Goodkind is just a poor writer.

At long last, it is finally over.

The best thing that can be said for Confessor, the eleventh and final volume in Terry Goodkind’s long-running Sword of Truth series, is that Goodkind had so many loose ends to tie up, so much actual story to work with, that there’s a residual effect that dampens, ever so slightly, the substandard-message-hokum he’s been pumping out since around book seven. The second-best thing that can be said for it is “thank the good spirits he’s finally laid this thing to rest.”

You will learn the ten things pros do but amateurs get wrong.

3. Pros try not to invest in things they don’t know.
4. Pros recognize that everthing is not analyzable.
5. Pros want to know the downside, not the upside. (This one is excellent).
6. Pros always look, they never avert their eyes from a down turn.

8. Amateurs worry they are not making enough, pros worry they are making to much. (Which means taking on to much risk).

Short, but to the point, I think!
As the author of, The Second Virgin Birth, I have to say that this book by James Somers is very believable, with well developed-characters that make you want to know more about them. Amazing dialogue surrounds an action-packed story line that will keep you guessing the entire time. It’s an easy read, and extremely well written.

Somers’ Soone Debut! 
New author James Soone debuts his first novel in a seemingly new series that comes off reading like a mix of Star Wars vs Terminator.

Both genres of both film and novels here are quickly apparent in the prose. Well, that can be good…and also bad.

We felt that James Somers holds great potential, but overall after reading the first 1/3 of the novel, we got a feeling of lack of quality in terms of much-needed descriptions and characterization. Unfortunately, those came as run-of-the-mill.
